Gnocchi alla Trapanese
Handmade gnocchi with a Sicilian-style pesto of sundried tomatoes, garlic, and herbs, finished with salted ricotta.

Fettuccine al Ragù Bianco
Handmade fettuccine with a white ragù — slow-cooked meat sauce made without tomato, so the flavour of the meat comes through clearly.

Meet Caronte

Caronte is the sister restaurant of Rufino Osteria, created to bring honest Italian neighbourhood dining to Carlsberg Byen. Inspired by the Osterie we grew up with, we focus on handmade pasta, seasonal ingredients and carefully sourced products from small Italian producers we work with directly through our import company.

More than just a restaurant, Caronte is about creating a place where people feel at homewarm hospitality, great wine and food made with care, served in a relaxed atmosphere. We believe the best meals are the ones shared around the table, without rushing.
