Tuesday Tasting: Women in wine #2

You are all invited to our next Tuesday Tasting on April 28th about Women in Wine, led by Maddy Kostros & Alexandra Thempler Svegaard! The first date got sold out so fast, we had to do another round! Some of today’s most exciting and talked-about winemakers are women. But what is it really like to navigate an industry still shaped by old school tradition, expectations, and outdated roles? This tasting is also a conversation – one about challenging and reshaping the stereotypes that have long defined the world of wine. Together, we’ll explore what it means to break norms in a traditionally male-dominated field, and how a new generation is changing the narrative. You’ll be guided through a selection of wines by female winemakers, led by Maddy Kostros (former winemaker and co-owner of Simply Grapes) together with Alexandra Thempler Svegaard (from the Rascal & Laban wine bars). Together, they are the driving force behind a growing community of women working with wine in Copenhagen.
