Hi there, I'm Anika

Hey there, I am Anika. I am the owner of Heaps Good Cafe in Nørrebro. I have been living in Copenhagen for almost a decade and working with food for the majority of my working life, from managing the produce section at an organic food cooperative in Sydney, Australia to washing dishes to now owning a cafe. Food is my life. Also, I'm a dog mum to Dolly P.

»My favourite bar in the world. This down to earth, hole in the wall wine bar has everything I need, reasonably priced nature wine (mostly from France), staff who know their shit (shout out to Ditte), Palestinian flags and an open vibe where a wine novice won't feel intimidated.«

Grønt Marked

»After working with farmer direct produce in Sydney, I really missed that personal connection to my food when I first moved to Copenhagen. So I was over the moon when Grønt Marked started up and even more so when they started the second location in Nørrebro. I love having a good chat with a farmer and hear how all their chickens are - or - buying a head of lettuce with a bunch of dirt in the leaves cause it was picked this morning and washed quickly by a human, not machines, and rushed off to the markets to be sold.«

»Im obsessed with this place. I dream of some of the dishes! Italian done right. Big flavour with no bullshit. Great range of Italian wines and aperitifs. Just go and try for yourself!«
