Café Nick

“A dinosaur bodega, a safe haven, a brown oasis – call it what you want. Ruth took over café Nick 27 years ago and has not lost her excellent host skills along the way. I love going there for an ice-cold Tuborg Classic and eavesdrop on the old artists and painters talking amongst themselves. Salt pretzels are always on the house, and hard cash is the only way to pay. (My apologies to Mads and Maurice that showed me this place — I know it’s a secret, but I think it’s time to let the world in on it).”
