Hi there, I'm Nate

Hey! I'm Nate. I'm from Boston, but have been cooking at noma for the past 8 years, 4 of which have been spent as a sous chef helping to develop new dishes and menus in the test kitchen. Currently, I'm working my way towards going to graduate school. I believe it's impossible to choose a top 5 in Copenhagen as the city is spoilt with so much talent in the industry, but here's 5 of the many spots that I love to frequent.

»Such a cozy and fun spot. Owned by Rosforth & Rosforth, so you know the wine cellar is stunning. The food here is so approachable and delicious with Georgia as its' influential force.«

Palæ Bar

»As an expat, I'd be remiss to not include a bodega in my top five of CPH. Palæ Bar is not exactly a bodega--there is no smoking inside, but it oozes culture and history. Great spot for a cold pint.«

La Fontaine

»For a Sunday evening jaunt, this pearl of a jazz bar stands alone. Get there early if you want a seat.«
