Challenge your Partners in Wine to a beginner-friendly Wine Quiz & win a cheeky giftcard, while tasting 5 wonderful wines! The perfect evening for anyone who wants to learn more about different grape varieties, popular regions, and tasting notes — all while having fun in the informal and cozy atmosphere of our Bistro & Winebar, Falernum. Round 1 Multiple-choice questions covering general knowledge about popular grape varieties, countries, and flavor profiles. During this round, you’ll be served a tasting of the evening’s first wine, presented by the host. It may give you a few hints for your answers along the way. Round 2 A blind map quiz focusing on the country of origin of the evening’s second wine. We’ll talk about different soil types and climates, how they influence a wine’s flavor profile, and try to guess where the wine comes from. Round 3 We finish with a blind tasting — the most fun part of the evening! While you’re served tastings of three different wines, you can use all your newly acquired knowledge and make your best guesses. The host will guide you through the tasting notes.
