Restaurant Opening

Friday the 28th, restaurant Uni will be opening up its doors for the first time in the intimate restaurant space on Store Kongensgade 42, in the heart of Copenhagen. A new restaurant, where Japanese inspiration meets danish seasonal ingredients and influence from around the world. Our head chef Takashi Saito, takes inspiration from his origins but also draws inspiration from around the world and with a big focus on local and seasonal produce. Both the owners Takashi and Oliver met and worked at the former restaurant Umami down the street back in 2017 and are now ready to make a statement of their own. The statement is to create an experience where food, design and atmosphere melts together. The restaurant will offer a carefully selected assortment of wines from around the world, sake, beer and cocktails. Who knows, we might even serve a few of the old known classics back from Umami!
