What is wine, really – and why does it taste so varied? This tasting is for those who are curious, but not quite sure where to start, or how to order to get what they crave. We’ll take it from the very beginning and make wine a little less mysterious (and a bit more fun). We’ll talk about how good grapes are grown without pesticides or excessive chemicals, and how they eventually become the wine in your glass. What’s the difference between red, white, and orange wine? And how do you taste wine without sounding like a snob? You’ll get simple, practical tools to taste, compare, and describe what you experience in the glass – without it feeling formal or intimidating.
