Wine Tasting – Langhe: The New Generation

For our next tasting, we're very lucky to have Olivia Hviid, a sommelier and piemonte resident, tell us all about the new generation of winemakers shaking up the Langhe region. Join us for this exciting tour & tasting around the region! The Langhe region of Italy is legendary for its ancient vineyards, rolling hills, and beautiful small towns. It’s the birthplace of some of Italy’s most iconic grapes - including Nebbiolo and Barbera. Today, a new generation of winemakers is bringing a fresh perspective to these classic wines, blending tradition with innovation - which Olivia is here to tell us all about!  After 8 years in the wine industry and numerous wine trips to the region, Olivia decided to do what many wine lovers dream of - pack her bags and move to Barolo. Whilst she's back home in Copenhagen, she's stopping by Rascal to show us some of the most interesting wines the Langhe region has to offer. She'll be focusing on a new generation of creative and talented winemakers adding a fresh perspective to the infamous region.  Expect to taste a diverse range of grapes and producers - all with lots of elegance and energy.
