Wine Tasting - What Actually Is Wine?
About
For our first session in our "Wine 101" series, we’re starting at the very beginning.
Kristiane will run you through the fundaments of how grape juice turns into wine - breaking down the differences between white, orange, red, and rosé. We’ll keep it simple but still get a bit nerdy about maceration techniques and how different vessels impact what ends up in your glass. Most importantly, the aim is to help you figure out what you actually do (and don’t like) in your vino and help you feel more confident when ordering.
No jargon or pretension - just lots of learning, three great wines to try, plenty of time to ask any and all questions you’ve ever had about wine.
We’re keeping these sessions a little smaller than usual, so be sure to book your spot before they fill up!
What's included?
A Tasting of 3 Wines
Light Snacks
A 2-hour group tasting to learn about the wines & ask any questions
Tasting will be held in English
*Note for groups of 8 or more drop us an email and we’ll arrange a more private tasting.
