Chinese-Swiss dinner and “Chinese on the beach” book launch

We are honoured to welcome Vanessa Fabiano, Swiss-Italian-Spanish author for her book launch: Chinese on the Beach (Stories). Set in Beijing and Shanghai, these sharp, intimate stories span the 1990s into the early 2000s, following locals, expats, and returnees as they navigate power shifts both personal and political. The book launch is open to everyone and is supported by the Swiss Club. To suit the theme, Francesco (Swiss owner of Tilda & Karl) is teaming up with Joyce (our former colleague, originally from Hong Kong) and Laetitia (both working at Apotek 57). They are cooking up a delicious fusion dinner from kl 19, which is 365 kr./person and can already be booked via our website. The menu: • Pickled Cucumbers with chilli crisp • Choucroute Wantan • Rösti with Hoisin glace, tea eggs and Bündnerflesich • Milk rice topped with Meringues de Gruyère
