Sukiyaki is a traditional Japanese hotpot dish made with thinly sliced beef, tofu, vegetables and noodles simmered in a sweet and savoury sauce based on soy sauce, sugar and mirin. It is often prepared at the table and shared with others, making it a cosy and social dining experience.
